Mobile Banking Security

We have taken every precaution to ensure Mobile Banking security. Account information is not stored on your mobile device.

PTSB Mobile Banking uses the same level of security as our Internet Banking System. The system brings together a combination of industry-approved security technologies to protect data for the bank and for you. It features a multifactor authentication system, industry-leading encryption, and multiple security protocols and access restrictions to regulate the inflow and outflow of server traffic. Unique User ID and password with out-of-band authentication is required for certain transactions.

For SMS text mobile banking, only one mobile number can be used to access your banking information.

Online Messenger/eAlerts

If you want to be notified when your account reaches a certain balance or when a specific transaction occurs, follow these easy steps:

  1. Login to online banking.
  2. Click on the ‘List of Accounts’ button.
  3. Click on ‘New’ to the right of Checking or Savings under the Messages category.
  4. On the next screen choose ‘Clear Check Notification’ or ‘Checking/Savings Balance Notification’ from the drop down menu and click ‘Next’.
  5. Complete the form including a password you will use each time to access the information that is sent to you.

E-Statements

Enjoy the convenience and added safety of having your monthly account information sent to you via secured email.

To sign up, have your account numbers ready, then log in to your Online Banking and click the E-Statement Enrollment button and follow the prompts.
